Your silk pillowcase protects your hair at night. But your hair touches far more than your pillowcase. The hood, the couch, the car seat, the headrest, the chair behind you, the wind on the walk in. Small moments of rough contact that can add up to frizz, flattening and tangles by the time you arrive.

Ordinary hood linings can rub against curls, waves, blowouts, braids, locs and hairlines. zwilky changes the contact point by lining the inside of the hood with smooth mulberry silk, giving your hair a smoother surface for the real-life friction your pillowcase cannot reach.

The outside gives you the structure, warmth and premium feel of an elevated hoodie. The inside gives your hair a smoother silk contact surface where ordinary hoodies are usually rough.

Treat it like the premium piece it is, and it will last. The hood is lined with real 6A grade mulberry silk (22 momme) exactly where it sits against your hair, wrapped in a heavyweight 460GSM brushed organic cotton body. Two fibres, one simple rule: be gentle with the silk and the whole hoodie rewards you for years.

Note: hair products, oils and skincare can transfer onto silk over time. This is completely normal for a natural fibre and is easily managed with the care above. The silk is simply doing its job, sitting soft against your hair and skin, so a little mindful washing keeps it at its best.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the hoodie must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

To start a return, email support@zwilky.com before sending anything back. Items returned without an approved request cannot be accepted. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, and we will make it right with a replacement or refund.

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to switch size or style is to return the original item once approved and place a new order. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.

So glad I purchased this hoodie! Not only do I love this product but the guy behind this business is absolutely incredible to have created a product like this in support of the curly hair community. If your a curly haired girl like me its difficult to find authentic silk/satin products to protect the curls, and this is absolutely perfect, its stylish and keeps me warm, and it really helps with preventing a frizzy day out. Honestly worth investing in, even my mum has one too:)

Four months in and the silk lining is still perfect (long-term review)

I bought this in December so I wanted to come back and write a proper long-term review because I know people worry about whether the silk holds up over time with regular use and washing.

Four months of regular wear, regular washing, and the silk lining is completely intact. No pilling, no rough patches, no change in how it feels against my hair at all. The cotton outer also hasn't pilled or faded noticeably.

Hair-wise: my high porosity 3b/3c curls need all the help they can get with moisture retention and friction reduction. I genuinely feel like consistently wearing this has made my curls more manageable, not in a "miracle product" way, but in a "removing unnecessary daily friction" way. The cumulative difference is real. Buy it. It holds up.

Wash day protection beyond the bedroom

Wash day takes me like 2 hours. Always got ruined by the next morning by just grabbing my regular hoodie when doing my daily stuff. Couldn't figure out why my hair never lasted. Been wearing this for a month and my wash and go is still looking good on day 3/4. The silk actually makes a difference where the hood sits against my hair. worth every cent honestly and is super comfy

The difference matters: real silk has a natural protein fibre structure that creates a genuinely smooth contact surface. Polyester satin is smoother than fleece, but it is not silk.
